
Having read the Oliver Goldsmith classic 'Treasury of Aesop's Fables', the book of mini children's stories has always fascinated me to know more about Aesop - the native of Phrygia. With 68 engraved illustrations by Thomas Berwick, the classic bedtime stories tell a tale for children, yet it is their parents who are aware of the current day Aesop phenomena. The skin care range has become a cult for some avid users. I recall my own mother jumping up and down in St. Germain in Paris when we coincidently walked past an Aesop store, she would never use moisturiser by anyone else.

The seriousness of this campaign makes me giggle at the middle aged, lab coat wearing women. Their expressions show they are pleased with the results of Aesop's deodorant, yet a quote from Elizabeth Taylor "Success is a great deodorant. It takes away all your past smells" displays a sarcastic approach willing users not to take life too seriously.
Will I try it? Why not? Even at $35 a pop I'm sure that it will give me a natural pick-me-up in the morning as I spray the Lemongrass, Clove and Vetiver Root natural oils than my generic roll on variety.
